In Memoriam: Felton T. Williams

Felton T. Williams Sr. was born in Pickens, AR on April 6, 1958 to the late Mrs. Willie Mae Hood and Mr. Thelma Williams Sr. He departed life on Sunday, July 26, 2026. He accepted Christ at an early age and later joined the Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member until death.

Felton attended public schools in McGehee, graduated from the Great Rivers Vo-tech school now the University of Arkansas Community College in McGehee as a certified carpenter. He worked for W&W Construction building government low income housing.

He was preceded in death by his sister Debra Hood, step-father and mother Willie Mae & Marcus Hood Sr. (3) Brothers Morgan Welcher Sr., Samuel Williams and Charles Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Carla Williams of Reed, Arkansas, one daughter Lennessa (Carlos) White of McGehee, AR, one son Felton T.(Kesha) Williams Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, one Sister Belle Harris of McGehee, AR, four brothers: Thelma(Pam)Williams Jr. of Wichita, KS, Dunnell (Renyetta)Hood of McGehee, AR, Leroy(Margaret)Hood of McGehee, AR, Marcus(April)Hood of Texarkana, AR. (4) granddaughters (2) grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Felton T. Williams are to be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Evening Star MBC 1102 South 1st Street, McGehee, AR 71654, at 11:00 am. A public viewing will be held from 10:00 am to10:45 am with funeral services following after.
