In Loving Memory: Andrew J. Willis
Updated: 20 hours ago
Andrew J. Willis, 73,was born on September 8, 1953 to the late Rev. Caroll D. Willis and Emma T. Platt-Willis. He passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026. Andrew was a true servant of God. He was a caregiver for his parents and siblings. He was a master electrician, plumber, and carpenter. He shared those gifts with his church, his friends, and his community. Young people loved talking with him about God and life, and he encouraged young and old alike to build a relationship with Christ.
The things that made him the happiest were his grandchildren. Whether they were on stage, on the field or court, or in the band or choir, he was there cheering them on to be their best. Other parents came to love the loud voice coaching from the sidelines, and they missed it when he wasn't there.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Reverends Carroll D. Willis and Emma T. Willis; his daughter, Andrea Willis; his brother, Carroll D. Willis Jr.; and his sister, the Rev. Linda Willis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rev. Natalie E. Willis; his daughters, Alexis Willis, Emma Willis, Rebecca Williams (Brandon), and Kyria Denman (Roman) ; and a host of grandchildren, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Bethel AME Church | 600 North Cedar St. North Little Rock, AR 72114.
