On November 29, 2025, Ruby Lee Winston departed this life and entered into eternity. Ruby, who was also known as "Babe Rose", was born on February 23, 1930 to the late Marshall Clark and Lurinda Joyce Clark. "Babe Rose" confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A.M. Triplett, Rev. C.L. Beal, Rev. W.L. Plummer, and Rev. P.C. Holley, where she served as pianist and choir member.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Julius Winston. To this union 9 children were born, five of which preceded her in death, Lavern Neal, Rita Mae Winston, Charles Winston, Arthur Winston and Larry Winston.
She Leaves to cherish in her memory, 2 daughters: Delois Castel( Earnest) Indianapolis, IN, Janice Palmer, McGehee, AR, Kenny Winston(Tanya), Indianapolis, IN, James Winston(Tanya), Ridgecrest, CA, 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 1 niece, 4 nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Ruby Winston will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at McGehee Chapel MBC, 202 Church Street, McGehee, AR, Rev. G.L. Sanders Eulogist. Public viewing will be at 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
