Norman Anthony “Anky” Tillman, 62 of White Hall, Arkansas passed
away on April 5, 2025 at Blossoms of White Hall Nursing Home. He
was born October 29, 1962 to the late Norman Tillman and Betty
Jenkins-Creath of McGehee, Arkansas.
Norman gave his life to Christ at an early age where he grew up as a
member of St. Peter African Methodist Church in McGehee, Arkansas
under the pastoral care of Reverend C.D. Willis, Sr. He was a 1982
graduate of McGehee High School. He was employed by the
University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock Arkansas in the
Hospitality Services as a Volunteer. He focused on assisting families
and visitors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Tillman; mother,
Betty Jenkins-Creath; sister Shiley “Kaye” Prince; great niece, Kyndell
Kayes Stokes and grandmother, Olevia Broomfield.
Norman leaves to cherish his loving memories one daughter, Kaylynn
Tillman of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandson, Marz Anthony Reed of
Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers, Norris D. Tillman of Little Rock,
Arkansas and Reginald Dowdy of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters,
Derona Rhodes of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Bianca Blackmon of Upper
Marlboro, Maryland and Sherrly Horn of Clinton, Maryland and a host
of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and
friends.
Norman will be remembered for being a loving father and grandfather,
also as a loving uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He loved all of
his aunts, uncles and cousins.
