A Celebration Of Life: Thomas "Joe" Williams

Thomas Joe Williams, 82 was born on January 15, 1943 in Reed, Arkansas. He departed this life on July 10, 2025. Joe was the beloved son of Charlie Williams and Futha Mae Jackson. He was lovingly raised by his mother, Futha Mae and his stepfather, Maurice Reynolds Sr., in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Joe attended West Division High.  At an early age, he began working in the construction field where he excelled and performed specialized work as a brick mason.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Johnny and Estella Jackson; his parents, Charlie Williams, Futha Mae Jackson, and Maurice Reynolds Sr.; his three brothers, Maurice Jr., Stevie, and Michael Reynolds; and two sons, Paul Williams and Michael Lee.

Joe will forever be remembered  by his loving wife, Mary Polly Spratt-Williams.  He also leaves to cherish his memories as a loving father by his children; LaDetra (Dexter) Strong, (Milwaukee, WI) LaTarsha (Edward) Thomas, (Texarkana, TX) Regina Williams, (Omaha, NE), Nigel (LaToya) Pride (Little Rock,  Miguel Williams (Milwaukee, WI); one special godson, Thomas Brown (Little Rock, AR) four stepchildren, Janice Polite, Brian Polite, 

Bryant Spratt, (McGehee, AR), and James (Talisha) Polite, (Little Rock, AR); five siblings, Margie Smith, (Blythwood, SC), Marilyn Reynolds, (Milwaukee, WI)  Ricky (Dawn) Reynolds, (Racine, WI) and Elaine and Charlene Williams (Stockton  California). He also leaves behind twelve cherished grandchildren, Rasha Davis, Shantaja  and Dequan Francie,  Morgan Thomas, Tiara and Kalahni Thornton,  Kentun Armstrong,  Galvin  and Khaliq Jenkins, Dexter Strong, Jr., Cantrell and Nyla Pride; two special grands, Porter and Joiner Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Joe’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family will live on in all who knew and loved him.
